My journey to becoming a content writer wasn’t a direct one. In fact, my career began in programming. From 2010 to 2012, I worked as a programmer with the Swedish company Syntronics Sdn Bhd, where I maintained radio base stations. It was a challenging role, but it taught me the importance of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
From there, I moved on to a role as a software engineering programmer with the Singaporean baby garment factory, NyanKids Sdn Bhd. During my time there, I developed a passion for programming and software engineering that I still carry with me today.
However, I eventually realized that my true calling lay elsewhere, and in 2013, I transitioned into the field of education. For the next two years, I worked as an education consultant with Raffles University Iskandar, where I helped students to navigate the complex world of higher education and plan their academic and professional futures.
In 2015, I took on a new challenge as a library executive with Sunday College Johor Bahru. There, I learned the value of organization, communication, and customer service, as I helped students and faculty members to find the resources they needed to succeed.
But my biggest challenge yet came in 2017 when I joined Southern University College as a lecturer. As a lecturer, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge and passion for writing and storytelling with the next generation of students, and I take great pride in helping them to achieve their goals and pursue their dreams.
Through all of these experiences, I have developed a diverse skill set that includes writing, programming, teaching, consulting, and customer service. And while these may seem like disparate skills, I believe that they have all contributed to my success as a content writer.
Today, I bring all of these skills and experiences to my work as a content writer, where I help clients to tell their stories, build their brands, and connect with their audiences. Whether I’m writing blog posts, website copy, or social media content, I always strive to bring creativity, precision, and passion to everything I do.
